GREATEST DAY: Your trip will start in Cape Town, South Africa. Home to award winning vineyards and stunning ocean vistas, it is often tipped as one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

We will host a safety briefing the day before the flight where our staff will explain all the kit requirements, assist with any last minute preparations and update you as to the latest weather forecasts in Antarctica.

You will land at the base of Wolfs Fang peak. These mountains are like no other on earth. Kilometer-high monoliths of rock rise vertically from the ice, creating a landscape that is simply breathtaking.

You will be escorted by our polar guides from the jet to a nearby Nanatak- a small mountain of rock that protrudes from the ice. It is an easy walk to the top where you will experience spectacular views over the entire mountain range.

With an immense wall of ice as our backdrop, we will host a Champagne picnic in arguably the most remote location on earth.

As you board the jet for the return flight home, you will be served your drink of choice chilled by ten-thousand-year old Antarctic ice. There is no better way to preserve the memory of Antarctica as you return to the warmth of Africa.

ICE & MOUNTAINS: This 4 –day adventure takes in the dramatic Wolf’s Fang peak and then on to our luxury camp situated at the bottom of a 200ft icefall, it is a perfect location for your daily adventures.

Once landed, we will explore the extraordinary Drygalski mountain range hat sits only a few kilometers away. Kilometer-high monoliths of rock rise vertically from the ice.

You will spend the day amongst these giants with our expert guides accompanying you every step of he way. That evening, it is a short 25 min flight in a separate aircraft- DC3 Basler- to the luxury camp at Whichway.

There are six state-of –the –art sleeping pods that are heated and designed for two people each. At just over 6m in diameter, they are spacious with a writing desk, wash area and toilet.

The rest of the camp is made up of a shower pod, kitchen, and three centralized pods that make up the reception, lounge, and dining area. While the exterior is made from cutting edge materials, the interior has an old-world feel with rich textures. You can relax and enjoy food from our award-winning chef.

The next three days, our expert guides will offer a variety of activities to suit each individual guest. They can relax – or have an adrenaline-fueled day, the choice is theirs.

We go on gentle treks to a series of ice tunnels or venture further towards the coast, to where giant ice waves rise up from the ground in surreal formations. For relaxed picnics, to visiting one of the local science bases- its up to the guest to decide.

EMPERORS SOUTH POLE IN 8 DAYS: This 8-day trip combines the magnificent Emperor Penguins with a flight to the lowest point on Earth- the Geographic South Pole.

Day one will be as with the four-day trip- exploring the Drygalski mountain range, and a flight to the luxury camp at Whichaway.

If you have ever seen the movie “March of the Penguins” you will have a clear appreciation of how spectacular the Emperor Penguins are. The colony at Atka Bay is no exception. Two-hour flight via the DC# Basler from the main camp, will take you to the site of over 6000 Penguins and their young chicks. They are unafraid of humans and will come into a few meters from our group, immersing you in the noise, commotion and sheer beauty of it all. Tis is one of the greatest but least seen wildlife events on the planet.

Even now, reaching the lowest point on Earth is a feat that very few people have witnessed. During the hour flight, we land on the polar plateau to refuel and you will have a chance to walk around this vast wilderness giving you a real taste of the immense scale of Antarctica. Back on board, we will continue to the South Pole, landing at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station. At the designated marker, you will be at the lowest part of the world. A place with no more East, S0uth or West- only North.
